Caregiver - Day, Evening, and Overnight

Caregiver Position

We have an urgent need for caregivers in San Jose. Looking for overnight shift, day shift, and evening shift for 24/7 client. Registered home care aides who can start right away are encouraged to apply!!!

Caregiver pay range: $21 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Monitor and report changes in clients' well-being or behavior
• Follow care plans and safety protocols
• Assist with medication reminders
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed
• Foster independence and promote social interaction

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiver experience required
• Must register as a home care aide with CDSS
• 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
• Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening
• CPR certification
• TB test or chest x-ray
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
