Job description: Typically involves physically moving and handling products within a warehouse, including tasks like picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment, often requiring the ability to lift heavy items.

Key responsibilities MAY include:

• Picking and packing orders: Selecting products from inventory based on customer orders, accurately packing items, and preparing them for shipment.
• Inventory management: Maintaining accurate stock levels by performing cycle counts, reporting discrepancies, and rotating inventory.
• Receiving and unloading shipments: Checking incoming deliveries against invoices, verifying quantities, inspecting for damage, and moving products to designated storage areas.
• Loading and unloading trucks: By hand or with Pallet jack
• Sorting and organizing products: Placing items in their proper storage locations within the warehouse.
• Labeling and tagging: Applying labels to products and pallets for identification and tracking purposes.
• Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the warehouse workspace clean and organized, including sweeping floors and removing debris.

Required skills and abilities:

• Physical strength and stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and pallets for extended periods.
• Attention to detail: Accurately picking and packing orders with minimal errors.
• Basic math skills: Counting inventory and calculating quantities.
• Organizational skills: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to meet daily goals.
