Salary Range: $44,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Traverse City region seeking Bookkeepers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection efforts.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for all transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise or similar ERP accounting software.
• Demonstrated understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Experience with payroll processing and related tax regulations.
