Job Description
Medical Assistant - OBGYN

Schedule

8-hour shift scheduled between 06:00-18:00.

Assignment Details

Floating to partner facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience in an OBGYN clinic.
• Venipuncture/blood draw proficiency required.
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC only.
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic required).
• Documentation of specific OBGYN procedure experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals.
• Collect patient histories and perform specimen collection.
• Provide quality assurance support and patient triage.
• Assist with various OBGYN procedures.

Compliance / Notes

References from supervisors or higher required at submission. Background checks will be conducted.
