Remote Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

Manage your own cases, build trusted client relationships, and work directly with leadership in a highly entrepreneurial environment. The Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney will play a crucial role in managing a diverse caseload for a variety of clients and requires a strong foundation in Workers Compensation defense and the ability to navigate trials effectively. With a 200 hour billable minimum, candidates should be prepared to handle a full range of case responsibilities, from initial contact to trial proceedings. Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of approximately 60 cases, ensuring no more than 80 cases at any time Handle all types of hearings and trials, serving as the first point of contact for client issues Work collaboratively with a dedicated Legal Assistant to manage administrative tasks Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours Travel within the area for in-person trials, primarily in Southern California Enter time and approve work completed by legal assistants Build and maintain client relationships to foster trust and satisfaction Requirements: At least 2-3 years of Workers Compensation defense experience
