The Automotive Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Service Department, focusing on maximizing profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. • Operational Management: Directs daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring service efficiency.
• Staff Leadership: Hires, trains, mentors, and supervises service technicians, advisors, and support staff.
• Customer Satisfaction: Acts as the primary contact for complaints, ensuring high-quality service and fostering positive customer relations.
• Financial Performance: Manages the departmental budget, monitors profitability, and sets goals for productivity.
• Technical Compliance: Ensures all repairs meet manufacturer, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Generally requires 3-5 years in the automotive industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Requirements: High school diploma or GED is required, clean driving record, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
