Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums EmergencyMedicine Physician for coverage in Benton, Missouri. Thisopportunity is ideal for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician or aBoard-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with EmergencyMedicine experience. Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, andweekends .

• Locums Emergency Medicine
• Flexible scheduling required for days, nights, and weekends
• No call
• Average ED Census: Approximately 81 patients
• Annual ED Admissions: Approximately 12%
• Higher volume of lower-acuity Level 4 and 5 patients
• ICU available for higher-acuity patients
• All standard Emergency Department procedures required

Flexible PRN Scheduling-Scattered !0's and 12's

TheEmergency Department sees a broad range of presentations, with a higherpercentage of lower-acuity cases. The department also manages critically illpatients requiring advanced emergency interventions, including:

• Intubation
• Central line placement
• Other standard emergency procedures
• Critical care stabilization and management
• ICU-level patient care

The facilityhas access to an ICU and provides emergency care in a setting withoutdedicated:

• Pediatric services
• Plastics
• Neuro-interventional radiology
• Cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Obstetrics

Neurologyand psychiatric services are available to support patient care as needed.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine , OR FM/IM with 3+ years Emergency Medicine experience
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
• ATLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• Active Missouri medical license
