Location: Broward Health Facilities (100% Onsite)

Openings: 5

PR: $18/hr

Duration: 4-5 Week Contract

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of Tier 1 Support, Desktop Support, Help Desk, IT Support, Field Services, or Technical Support experience
• RELIABILITY (most important qualification)
• Coachable and able to take direction well
• Basic troubleshooting and technology skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience following documented procedures
• Reliable transportation

Job Description:

The Tier 1 Support Technician will support Broward Health's IV Pump Certificate Upgrade Project. The team will be responsible for updating approximately 2,500 IV pumps across four Broward Health facilities. Because these devices cannot be updated remotely, each pump must be physically located, placed into maintenance mode, updated with a new certificate, validated, and returned to service.

The first week of the engagement will be dedicated to training. Broward Health's team has already created detailed tip sheets and documentation, and technicians will receive hands-on guidance from Field Services and Willow support teams. This is a process-driven project where success is determined by reliability, coachability, and attention to detail rather than advanced technical knowledge.

The goal is for each technician to complete approximately 60-70 pumps per day, with top performers potentially completing 70-100 daily once fully trained. Each pump takes 5-6 minutes each to complete.

 

Day to Day:

• Locate IV pumps throughout Broward Health facilities
• Place pumps into maintenance mode
• Install updated security certificates
• Validate successful completion of updates
• Return pumps back into service
• Document completed upgrades in project spreadsheets
• Track and report progress throughout the project
• Follow established procedures and escalation paths
• Work alongside Broward Health Field Services personnel
• Support weekly project status updates and reporting

 

Project Details:

• Approximately 2,500 pumps total
• 5-6 minute process per pump
• Goal of 60-70 pumps per day per resource
• 5 technicians on project
• 40 hours per week
• Four Broward Health locations
• One site completed at a time
• First week dedicated to training and onboarding

Biggest thing they're looking for: Reliable people who show up every day, can be coached, follow a process, and are comfortable with hands-on technical work. This is much more about consistency and accountability than advanced IT skills.
