Accountant

Privately owned company seeks an Accountant who can handle accounting and bookkeeping activities for high-net-worth accounts. As the Accountant you will assist with processing accounts payable/receivable transactions, complete weekly and semi-monthly payroll runs, review cost analysis of employee benefits, coordinate with HR on accounting activities, maintain client business licensing and certifications, assist with the annual audit process, and prepare monthly financial reports. The ideal Accountant for this role should have excellent time management abilities, proven ERP skills, and strong US GAAP knowledge. Major Responsibilities Create complex financial reports Process weekly/semi-monthly payroll Assist with the monthly close process Journal Entries Account Reconciliation Strategic Planning Administrative Tasks Process accounts receivable/payable Assist with special projects The ideal Accountant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
