This includes driving account strategies, proactively gathering market intelligence, and expanding BASF’s position as a trusted partner for high-quality nutritional solutions that help optimize feed performance, animal well-being, and sustainable livestock production.As a Account Manager - Animal Nutrition, Vitamins & Carotenoids, you create chemistry by...Leading customer development and growth activities in alignment with the Animal Nutrition strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Account Management.Driving the key account planning process, including developing and executing account plans for customers in the USA and Canada.Identifying, negotiating, and closing growth opportunities with customers while managing key internal and external stakeholders.Implementing the Animal Nutrition strategy and delivering performance targets by defining budgets, monitoring critical KPIs, and driving new business and innovation initiatives.Acting as the primary customer focal point, serving as the key interface for BASF senior management and leading customer issue escalation and resolution.Building and maintaining senior-level customer relationships by presenting to internal and external stakeholders and steering high-impact business discussions.If you...Hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree and bring 5+ years of business experience in Sales, Marketing, or Key Account Management.Demonstrate proven sales leadership and influencing skills, with experience supporting strategic account planning.Apply strong strategic thinking and organizational awareness to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.Work collaboratively with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset across functions.Leverage strong business acumen, including experience managing budgets, KPIs, and business performance targets.Communicate effectively at a senior level, possessing strong interpersonal, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills to engage key decision-makers.Possess some experience in animal nutrition, feed premix, vitamins, amino acids, minerals and commoditized products, it is preferred.
