Salary: $180,000-200,000+ Experience: 7-10+ Years of Progressive Financial Leadership Healthcare Experience: Hospital / Health System Strongly Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting Required Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package Position Overview Our client is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to provide strategic financial leadership across hospital and multispecialty physician group operations. This role will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reimbursement analysis, payer analytics, and performance reporting while serving as a key financial partner to the CFO, executive leadership, and operational teams. What You'll Do Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting. Develop financial models supporting strategic and operational decisions. Partner with executives, clinical departments, and operational leaders on financial strategy. Analyze financial and operational performance and identify improvement opportunities. Lead reimbursement modeling, payer analytics, managed care evaluation, and revenue optimization. Evaluate hospital and physician group costs, reimbursement trends, and financial performance. Prepare financial analyses and presentations for executive and board-level discussions. Serve as a key advisor to the CFO and executive leadership. Leverage ERP, budgeting, decision-support, and analytics systems to improve reporting. What You'll Bring 7-10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience. 2-3+ years of hospital, health system, or multispecialty physician financial experience strongly preferred. Master's degree in Finance or Accounting required. Advanced financial modeling, analysis, and data analytics skills. Strong knowledge of hospital financial operations and healthcare reimbursement. Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement. Experience with reimbursement modeling, payer analytics, and managed care evaluation. Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations for executives. Experience with ERP, budgeting/forecasting, and financial decision-support systems. Preferred Experience Maryland hospital or healthcare financial experience. Familiarity with HSCRC and Global Budget Revenue (GBR). Chargemaster and/or physician fee schedule management. CPA, CFA, or HFMA certification. Lean Six Sigma or structured performance improvement experience. Compensation & Benefits $180,000-200,000+ annual salary. Comprehensive benefits package.
