Job Summary The Manager, Clinical Services is responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day clinical operations of the Business Development team in conjunction with the Director of Business Development. This role ensures the coordination of home health, hospice, and infusion services for hospitalized patients, clinic/outpatient, or patients in alternative settings, and guarantees delivery of quality patient care in compliance with clinical, administrative policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards. Major Job Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical operations of the BD team, managing, developing, and coordinating clinical activities on a 24‑hour basis. Assist the Director of Business Development in creating strategic and operational plans and preparing the department’s annual budget. Collaborate with the Director to determine fiscal requirements, assist with budget preparation, complete biweekly and monthly payroll, and assess resource utilization to ensure budget and resource efficiency. Participate in various personnel actions including hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other related activities. Evaluate clinical practice and review clinical documentation to ensure optimization of best‑practice care delivery and clinical outcomes. Maintain current knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations as well as all state and national governing body regulations. Maintain current knowledge of the comprehensive services, products, and supplies available through the organization. Remain current on reimbursement issues and their impact on the delivery of program services. Ensure appropriate staffing coverage at all three hospitals. Assess and coach staff practice levels and develop training programs or tools to foster continued clinical development. Develop and revise departmental policies to improve efficiency and support best practice. Participate on interdepartmental committees to foster teamwork and improve the delivery of quality patient care. Collaborate with referral sources to identify patient population needs, improve referral processes, and create staff educational opportunities. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred & Required Qualifications Education: BSN is required; MSN preferred. Licensure & Certifications: Current RN licensure in the state of NC or a compact license from a participating state; BLS (may be renewed during orientation); valid NC driver’s license. Professional Work Experience: 5 years of clinical practice with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; experience in home‑based care environments or care coordination. Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations, including JCAHO. Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
