DELMARVA DENTAL SERVICES PA is looking for a motivated and friendly Dental Business Assistant to join our growing team in Salisbury, MD! Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Process patient billing, insurance claims, and handle insurance verification
• Collect and post payments, manage accounts receivable, and handle financial arrangements
• Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage correspondence
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a dental or medical office front desk or administrative role preferred
• Familiarity with dental insurance billing, coding, and claims processing
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and record-keeping abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting or healthcare administration coursework a plus
