(Revised) Student Library Assistant Stacks (FALL)

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $10.00 hourly based on education and experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Varies 10-20 hours per week.

Position Introduction:

The Stacks Management Team provides accurate managed items that are easily accessible to users of Bizzell Memorial Library and its collections.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Shelving books
2. Picking up books left out of place
3. Measures incoming and outgoing materials
4. Shelf reads straightens and dusts materials
5. Assists patrons looking for books and refers other questions to other library and university departments
6. Searches for missing books
7. Shifts portions of the collection
8. Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
