North Ridge Health and Rehab in New Hope, MN is looking to hire both full-time and part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team. • IV Therapies
• TPN

Duties:

• Performing nursing tasks to assure resident needs are met
• Monitoring resident needs, condition and care
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Orders and receives medications from the pharmacy
• Admits and discharges residents
• Oversees TMA/NAR/RCA staff
• Ensures narcotic policy and procedures are followed
• Reports changes of condition to RN/Supervisor and physician as delegated
• Monitors for side effects of medication and reports prn
• Ensures resident care plans are being followed
• Follows and upholds Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies and procedures
• Maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA requirements
• Provides excellent customer service and communication to all residents/families/visitors/MD's/coworkers, etc.

Qualifications for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• LPN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.
• Trustworthy and respectful of others
• Dependable, professional, and a team player
• Enjoys serving and caring for seniors
• Establishes good rapport with others and communicates effectively

Work Schedule:

• These full-time and Part-time healthcare positions work 8-hour shifts: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, or 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• We are actively looking to hire for Day shifts, and those do require working every other weekend.
