Federal Project Manager

About the Position Pond is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join our growing, award-winning Federal group. We are looking for a self-starting, driven individual who will augment our strong team dynamic and embrace our client-first culture. This person must demonstrate a natural desire to take initiative, lead teams, and consistently exceed client expectations. Successful Project Managers at Pond & Company operate with a team-based philosophy and are responsible for managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams, as well as overseeing sub-consultants. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of design requirements for federal facilities, including both DoD and non-DoD agencies, with specific experience supporting Navy projects strongly preferred. Qualifications Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture 5+ years of experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction organization, preferably supporting Federal clients (Navy experience strongly preferred) 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager Professional Registration (PE or RA) required Thorough knowledge of facilities design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationship management Experience with Federal contracting, procurement processes, and procedures Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other relevant software Ability to travel as needed Occasional attendance at meetings and off-site events; must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance Position may require occasional travel Must be able to travel internationally, if required, via passport or other official documentation Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC); access to federal installations may require additional security credentials and the ability to obtain a security clearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
