Vanderbilt Health is seeking a PRN Diagnostic Audiologist to join our nationally recognized Audiology team serving patients throughout the Greater Nashville area. As a Diagnostic Audiologist, you'll provide comprehensive hearing evaluations, work alongside expert ENT providers, and help patients better understand and manage their hearing health. You'll practice in a collaborative outpatient setting equipped with advanced diagnostic technology and supported by a team committed to exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations for adult patients
• Conduct pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), and auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing
• Interpret test results and prepare thorough, accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with ENT physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Counsel patients and families regarding hearing health, evaluation results, and recommended next steps
• Maintain high standards of patient-centered care, quality, and safety
• Participate in departmental initiatives and support continuity of care across clinic locations as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's Degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Current Tennessee Audiology license or eligibility for licensure prior to start date
• Experience performing diagnostic audiologic evaluations preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
• American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification
• Prior experience in a medical, specialty, or outpatient clinic setting
• Experience collaborating with ENT/Otolaryngology providers
• Familiarity with ABR, OAE, and comprehensive diagnostic testing procedures
