Facilities Project Management Specialist

Job Description At Boeing’s Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) organization we are currently seeking a Facilities Project Management Specialist , at either Associate or Experienced level, to join our team in Everett, Washington . The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Project Management Specialist capable of taking charge of planning, coordinating, and overseeing the construction, renovation, and closeout of facility and capital projects. This role is integral to managing project budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships while ensuring strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. It requires exceptional organizational and communication skills and a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams toward successful project completion. Position Responsibilities Perform all aspects of small to mid‑sized facilities projects from pre‑construction planning through project execution to project closeout. Develop project requirements, integrated plans, and detailed work breakdown structure to achieve objectives within established scope, budget, and schedule. Monitor and communicate project status, current baselines, changes, risks, issues, and opportunities, and support needed. Perform variance analysis, critical path scheduling, cash flow projections, cost tracking, and make recommendations for change. Coordinate ongoing project tasks and serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, architects and engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and external suppliers. Perform project management and change management activities in accordance with industry principles and standards. Complete closeout of projects and document lessons learned. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 1+ years of experience in large construction projects, facilities management, or large project management. 1+ years of experience developing and/or managing project schedules and budgets. 1+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore, Gantt charts, MS PowerPoint, status charts, resource load charts). Experience with problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. Experience in leading cross‑functional and/or project teams. Experience analyzing data and making data‑driven decisions. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction management, project management, or a related field. 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of experience in project management or financial management. 3+ years of experience with risk identification and mitigation plans. 3+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive‑level management. Experience managing several simple and complex projects simultaneously. Experience with contract management, invoice management/reconciliation, and vendor management. Experience developing strategic Long Range Business Plans. Experience using Procore or other Project Management Information Systems. Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD package.
