Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dedicated Body Shop Painter to join our dynamic team at Performance Collision Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting, be punctual, certified, and demonstrate the ability to work well with a team of professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality painting of vehicles following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure all paint jobs are applied evenly and meet our quality standards.
• Mix and match paint colors to ensure perfect matches to original vehicle color.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Work efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and productivity goals.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and timely completion of repairs.
• Assist in the maintenance and proper care of painting equipment and tools.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional body shop painting experience.
• Certified in automotive painting (ASE or equivalent certification preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with co-workers.
• Must have own tools required for the job.
