Job Description The CT Tech performs procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and preferably one or more of the following modalities: General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab and Computed Tomography. Nightshift, Must have CT experience in an acute care setting. This position will do XRAYS, CT scans, and rotating weekends. Performs general diagnostic examinations as well as functioning in minimum of one additional specialty area., (Student-Site Coordinator, Quality/Education). Performs a variety of duties in preparing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for the technical component of scans and treatments of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. Operates Imaging equipment to produce the scans. Provides support and training assistance as well as functioning in all aspects of position. Assists the Lead and Department in maintenance of equipment and QA/QC program(s) for meeting regulatory and accreditation and re-accreditation. Serves as department liaison. Education Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Graduate of a JCERT accredited program Broad-based knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology Associate's: Health Science or equivalent education/experience Other: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program Night CT Technologist position covering Tuesday - Saturday nights Certification & Licensure ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists OR ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 30 Days of hire CA RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy Preferred Experience Two years as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic imaging and one or more of the following modalities: Angio/Cath Lab, Computed Tomography, or Magnetic Resonant Imaging.
