Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and a 1:2 patient ratio.

Job Details

• Work in the ICU/CCU setting,
• 1:2 patient ratio,
• Night shift schedule (3x12, 18:00-6:00),
• Labor Day and weekend rotation required,
• Floating within scope as needed to meet facility needs,
• Meditech Expanse EMR used, experience strongly preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required in-hand prior to start,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required,
• PALS, CCRN, CMSRN, or RN-BC preferred,
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience required,
• Prior travel nursing experience required,
• Skilled in IV therapy, central/arterial/PICC line management, and blood product administration,
• Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and respiratory care,
• Experience managing vasoactive and cardiac drips,
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred,
• Driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including those with multisystem organ dysfunction,
• Call-outs permitted only if more than a week's notice is given,
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within an 80-mile radius,
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level,
