Multiple Openings. Duties include: Provide direct and indirect instruction to students using a variety of techniques and clear objectives, and modifying curriculum as needed Plan and conduct student activities Teach socially acceptable behavior and establish and enforce rules for behavior Timely complete all procedural and compliance paperwork Maintain accurate and complete records and reports Develop effective communication plans, and meet and confer with students’ parents, administrators, and other professionals to develop IEPs and screen to determine special education eligibility Provide crisis intervention Assist in data collection and prep data for governmental reports Serve on multidisciplinary teams and participate in staff development, curriculum development, and other professional opportunities, supervise paraeducators and perform related work as required. Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Education, or closely-related field. Position also requires a valid MN teaching license in one of the following specialties: Academic and Behavioral Strategist, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Emotional or Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, or Physical and Health Disabilities.
