About the Role:
Join GOLDEN HOMECARE LLC as a Direct Support Staff member in Moorhead, MN, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide essential support and care in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor client progress.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Document client care and report any changes in condition to supervisors.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality of care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor towards clients.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
