Job Summary
The Surgical Technician will collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care during surgical procedures. This involves coordinating supplies, instrumentation, and equipment for surgeries, as well as performing scrub duties for various surgical specialties. The role requires effective stress management, decision-making under pressure, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work while standing, sitting, lifting, bending, and walking.
- BLS Certification, Surgical Tech registration required.
- CST Certification (preferred).
- Graduated from an accredited program for Operating Room Technician.
- Preferred: One or more years of experience as a Surgery Technician.
