- Call Type: 2nd Call / Backup
- Response Time: 30 minutes
- Setting: Hospital-based
- Responsibilities:
- Assigned inpatient rounding
- First assist with cardiothoracic surgeon
- Patients Per Shift: Approximately 13
- EMR: Epic
- Specialty: Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Required Skills:
- Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
- Radial artery endoscopic harvesting
- Role: Nurse Practitioner First Assist or Physician Assistant
- Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred
- Board Certification: Required
- Fellowship Training: Preferred
- Certifications:
- ACLS - Required
- BLS - Required
- Surgical first assist role with inpatient rounding
- Call responsibilities are mandatory
- EVH and radial artery harvesting experience required for consideration
