Housekeeping Room Attendant, Part Time - Sawmill Creek Resort

$18.50/hour Ages 18+. At Cedar Point, work is FUN! Working in a housekeeping role means you will ensure the guest checks into a clean room and give memorable service to each guest you encounter. Responsibilities Carry dirty linens from guest rooms to the laundry area for processing. Clean with a variety of chemicals to ensure cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas. Use a vacuum daily to maintain floors. Collect trash from containers, pick up trash items in hotel rooms and public areas. Make beds ensuring a neat, presentable appearance. Restock supplies, such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc. in guest rooms and storage areas. Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines, requirements, and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with coworkers. Responsible for cleaning of all common areas within the Resort, public spaces, mopping and sweeping floors, vacuuming, and dusting. Employees hired into the above position will be solicited for membership by the Midwest Regional Joint Board Union representing Sawmill Creek. Physical Requirements Self-motivated. Must be able to stand for 8 hours. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Able to push-pull a cart 100 lbs with assistance.
