Accounting and Finance Assistant Manager

Accounting & Finance Assistant Manager Pay: $70k per year Job Summary This interim role supports and oversees accounting and finance operations, with a planned transition into the Manager position within two years. The position requires a hands-on approach to financial management, reporting, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations Oversee cash management, disbursements, and cash flow planning Perform month-end close and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Coordinate audit activities and liaise with auditors and internal teams Work with external tax preparers and support budgeting and financial planning Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes Complete ad-hoc financial projects as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting required Minimum of 8 years of experience, including manufacturing industry experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and general tax principles Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr
