For more information about LGESVT, please visit Position Overview This role works to develop and support BESS standard product solutions. The position reports to the manager of BESS Standard Solutions. Primary Responsibilities Develop System-level BESS “power block” architectures by analyzing and selecting optimal combinations of batteries, PCS, MV transformers, protection, and auxiliary systems. Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Project Engineering, Software, Supply Chain, Sales Engineering) to ensure designs are feasible, constructable, cost-effective and aligned with product roadmap strategy. Produce and maintain engineering documentation such as specifications, drawings, configuration guides, and reference designs to support sales and project execution teams. Provide technical support to Sales Engineering and Project Engineering on standard product configurations, system behavior, product information, and integration constraints. Lead or contribute to design reviews, delivering clear rationale, tradeoff analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations for system-level decisions. Evaluate and qualify vendors, products, and emerging technologies for integration into BESS solutions, including performance, reliability, and compliance considerations. Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment on product capabilities, roadmap, and integration requirements. Review supplier provided documentation and customer-facing materials, offering structured feedback to improve clarity, accuracy, and usability. Contribute to the development of continuous improvement of standard engineering processes, tools, and design methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline 4+ years of experience in system level engineering involving hardware, software, controls, and software integration Demonstrate experience with BESS technologies, including batteries, BMS, PCS, Protection Systems, and Power Systems. Proficiency with control architectures, communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, DNP3), and system integration Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated system solutions Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors #J-18808-Ljbffr
