Are you an experienced and driven hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Bar Manager, oversee bar operations, and contribute to maintaining a vibrant and welcoming environment for our patrons.


Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Bar Manager on daily operations, including opening and closing duties.
• Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and quality standards.
• Manage inventory effectively by ordering, receiving, and stocking bar supplies.
• Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on standardized recipes.
• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and tact.
• Assist with devising and implementing promotional events to attract and retain customers.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully operational at all times.
• Oversee cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy and security.
• Support the Bar Manager in meeting financial targets and enhancing profitability.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in bar management or a comparable leadership role in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, including inventory control and staff supervision.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage stressful situations.
• Minimum age of 21 and possession of any certifications required by law.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Chesapeake, VA.
