The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The key purpose of this position includes washing pots and pans, washing dishes, maintaining floors, assisting with general cleaning and sanitation as assigned, maintaining storage areas and equipment as assigned, and may be asked or trained to prep food.

Success criteria include passion for customer service, a positive attitude, dependability, and the ability to communicate effectively and work within a team environment.

Key areas of collaboration and influence include working with catering to deliver food and assist with the setup of events, working well under time restraints, realizing the importance of a team working environment, commitment to the service values and ethics of the client managers, ability to understand and follow direction from chefs and managers, supporting the chef and culinary team when needed, and supporting dish room operators as needed.

Ideal candidate experience includes knowledge of HACCP practices for handling dishware and food deliveries, passion for customer service, a positive attitude, accountability and dependability in all that you do, and the ability to communicate with teammates.

Key accountabilities include setting up the pot sink correctly according to HACCP practices and washing pots and pans as required, cleaning or sanitizing work areas, utensils, or equipment, sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen and service areas as required, removing garbage as directed in a safe manner, performing other duties as assigned, and following all safety rules and actively preventing accidents.

Physical demands and work environment include working up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks, being able to lift a minimum of 25lbs, coming to work properly dressed according to the dress code, and being able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.
