Our work spans both the robot platform itself and the systems, partners, and playbooks required to deploy it at scale.About the RolePersona AI is building a rugged humanoid platform to supplement the industrial skilled-labor workforce. Building and testing these robots depends on a steady, accurate flow of parts, components, tools, and equipment into and out of our Houston facility.We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to own that flow. You will receive and inspect incoming materials, keep inventory accurate, and prepare outbound shipments — including robots, prototypes, and spare parts headed to customers and partners in the United States and abroad. Your work keeps our engineering and build teams moving and makes sure what we ship arrives safely and on time.What You Will Be DoingReceive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepanciesLog received items in our inventory or ERP system and route them promptly to the right engineering, build, or test teamPick, pack, crate, and label outbound shipments, including high-value robot assemblies, prototypes, and spare partsPrepare shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and export paperwork for international shipmentsCoordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight forwarders, and couriers; track shipments and resolve delays or damage claimsMaintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and organized storage of parts and materialsWork with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to flag shortages, backorders, and incorrect deliveriesHandle and store hazardous materials (e.g., lithium-ion batteries, compressed gases, chemicals) in line with safety and regulatory requirementsKeep the receiving dock and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safeHelp build and improve shipping and receiving processes as the company scalesWhat We Are Looking For:High school diploma or GED3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles, ideally in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical environmentExperience with inventory management or ERP systems and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)Working knowledge of carrier platforms (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL) and freight / LTL shippingStrong attention to detail and accuracy when counting, labeling, and documenting materialsClear communication skills and comfort coordinating with engineers, vendors, and carriersAbility to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-moving, early-stage environmentForklift and pallet jack experience, or willingness to obtain certificationAuthorization to work in the United StatesAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, with assistance or equipment for heavier itemsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsWork takes place in a warehouse and robotics lab setting with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperaturesUse of required PPE (e.g., safety shoes, safety glasses) in designated areasOccasional overtime or flexible hours may be needed to meet shipping deadlinesBonus Skills:Experience with international shipping, export compliance, and customs documentation (e.g., HTS codes, EEI filings)DOT/IATA hazardous materials shipping certification, especially for lithium batteriesExperience crating or shipping large, heavy, or high-value equipmentExposure to robotics, aerospace, automotive, or hardware startup environmentsBilingual English/Korean or English/JapanesePersona AI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
