Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a substance use treatmentorganization offering comprehensive behavioral health programs,including medication-assisted recovery, to individuals with substanceuse disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring mental health conditions. Withover 25 years of experience and multiple locations across the state,we provide a full continuum of care for substance use disorder, fromprevention and harm reduction to treatment and recovery support. Ourprograms integrate FDA-approved medications for the treatment ofsubstance use disorders, including all three medications approved totreat opioid use disorder (buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone).We strive to meet our patients where they are, bringing care outsideclinic walls via telehealth and mobile services and ensuring patientshave access to harm reduction resources and education. Strives to develop and direct prospective referrals to FGC andother treatment providers, as appropriate and in accordance withpatients’ needs and wishes, as it makes rounds in the neighborhoodsof our Community partners Develops referral relationships with our shelter partners,homeless outreach teams, local task forces, hospital social workers,faith-based and local community organizations, and other communitybased organizations as appropriate, serving as their liaison toaccessing treatment services offered by Family Guidance Centers Demonstrate professionalism in working with patients, staff andother outside professionals or collaterals. Supervision andProfessional Development: Participate in supervision with ProgramManager as well as appropriate continuing education activitiesrelated to care management and maintenance of relevant certificationor licensure Describes FGC programs, services and eligibility requirements inlaymen’s terms to people struggling with opioid and alcoholaddiction and those at risk of overdosing, as well as family membersor friends of people struggling with addiction, informing andassisting them to gain immediate access to treatment Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00a - 3:30p) Start Date: ASAP Work Location: 2630 S. Wabash Ave., Chicago, IL Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a Drug Free Environment(including THC and/or CBD). DCFS clearance required. Experience and Skills: Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma/GED required; Experience in/with substance use, detoxprograms, medication-assisted treatment, behavioral healthcare and/orcommunity relations encouraged to apply . Preferred but not required: possess a valid driver's license,insurance, and personal vehicle In the course of regular program operations, FGC outreach staffmay be asked to utilize their own vehicles to transport themselvesto and from outreach locations. In these cases, it is helpful butnot necessary for staff to have access to their own vehicle.Candidates will never be disqualified from a position because theydo not have a license, insurance, or personal vehicle. Programs willwork with each staff member individually to ensure that they areable to travel to and from work locations safely and effectively.
