Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit.

Multiple Shift: Days & Nights

Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekly Scheduled: 36

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
  

Education

• RN-Associate's Degree, or
  
• RN-Bachelor's Degree, or
  
• RN-Diploma, or
  
• RN-Master's Degree
  

Unit Description

This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Stroke unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring. The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care - which may be a cardiac cath, transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart, or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
