Human Resources and Operations Manager

The Human Resources and Operations Manager helps support the day-to-day operations of Country Roads Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, with a focus on employee relations, administrative coordination, and effective communication across leadership and clinical teams. Role Location and Schedule Fairmont, WV (onsite) Compensation USD 50,000 - 70,000 per year Education Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field Key Responsibilities Address employee relations issues, including harassment allegations, work complaints, and other employee concerns. Coordinate continuing education and professional development for clinical staff, maintaining a list of certifications and continuing education courses held by each PT. Coordinate and schedule performance reviews and employee evaluations. Assist with recruiting needs by screening incoming applicants, supporting recruitment strategies, and coordinating with outside staffing agencies when temporary employees are required. Maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, and promotions. Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations, and consult with management when developing or implementing personnel policies or procedures. Maintain and update HR documents, including employee handbooks, directories, policies, and performance evaluation forms for compliance. Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Provide management with information or training related to interviewing, performance appraisals, counseling techniques, and documentation of performance issues. Monitor employee attendance and leave requests. Support employee relations, workplace concerns, and policy implementation. Assist with performance evaluations, corrective action documentation, and employee development. Ensure HR processes align with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Operate computers programmed with accounting software (Quickbooks Online) to record, store, and analyze information. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. Coordinate with a third-party Accountant and CPA on an as-needed basis. Coordinate company-wide marketing plan efforts as part of a team effort, including special monthly awarenesses, challenges, and community outreaches. Support outside marketing vendors by coordinating and collating content. Coordinate communication between management, clinical providers, and support staff. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline workflows. Assist with developing and maintaining standard operating procedures. Monitor completion of administrative tasks and follow up on outstanding items. Coordinate equipment requests and vendor communications. Support implementation of new systems, policies, and operational initiatives, including coordination related to a new clinic opening. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and administrative needs, facilitating clear communication between departments and leadership. Assist with coordinating training sessions and company initiatives, promoting a professional, supportive, team-oriented workplace. Assist with special projects and organizational improvements as assigned. Maintain confidential employee and business records. Monitor required employee training and compliance documentation, including compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable employment regulations. Support internal audits, record reviews, and policy updates, ensuring administrative procedures are followed consistently across the organization. Other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
