Qualifications Qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional licensed by this state and eligible for certification as a recreation specialist or an activities professional. At least two (2) years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five (5) years, with at least one (1) year full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting. Qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant. Completed a training course approved by this state.
