Laborer II

The Laborer II is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by performing general physical labor on project site including but not limited to loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and assisting skilled trades.

This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

1. Clean and prepare construction project site by removing debris and possible hazards.
2. Lubricate and clean machinery, equipment, and tools.
3. Load or unload materials to be used during construction.
4. Erect and disassemble temporary structures.
5. Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction.
6. Operate power tools and hand tools.
7. Assist skilled trades, such as electricians and carpenters, with their duties.
8. Perform all tasks efficiently and safely.
9. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Laborer II position requires working knowledge, skills, and abilities as they relate to the position along with 2+ years of construction labor/helper experience.
