Sr. Accountant

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the manufacturing site, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Cost Accounting: Oversee the site’s cost accounting processes, including tracking and analyzing manufacturing cost, variances, and inventory valuation. Inventory Accounting: Oversee inventory accounting processes, including inventory valuation, reconciliations, cycle count analysis, and investigation of inventory variances. Partner with Operations to ensure accurate inventory records and effective controls. Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify control weaknesses and implement corrective actions. Capital Expenditure Analysis: Analyze and evaluate capital expenditure proposals for the manufacturing site. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support investment decisions. Financial Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making by site management. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure site performance. Month-end Close: Lead the month-end close process for the manufacturing site, ensuring timely and accurate recording of journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with external audits for the manufacturing site, including providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. Experience: Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in accounting in manufacturing environment Strong experience in cost accounting and inventory management Experience with month-end closing, financial reporting, and analysis Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced Experience with ERP/MRP systems and QuickBooks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
