The location in Miami, (Florida, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Forklift Driver Mill. This job is full-time permanent.

Summary: Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, load/unload material stack and count merchandise within the shipping and receiving department. This role ensures that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Major Responsibilities

• Operate Forklifts truck to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
• Efficiently move products from receiving areas to designated storage locations.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule (load, pack, label ship).
• Perform inspections on incoming shipments to ensure correct quantity and quality.
• Verify and complete shipping documents and records in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform daily equipment checks to ensure proper operating conditions and immediately reports any malfunctions.
• Maintaining the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Assist with other warehouse and logistics tasks as needed.
• Support continuous improvements initiatives related to workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school - Diploma or GED preferred but no required. Valid Forklift Certification or ability to obtain certification prior starting. Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual Ability to work independently and manage priorities under time sensitive circumstances Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for long periods. Consistently shows up on time, follows instructions and completes tasks without constant supervision Communication Skills Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe practices when handling equipment and materials Work Environment: Work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Monday to Saturday. Lock-out-Tag-out.
