Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical conditions and diseases
• Maintain a 2:1 staffing ratio in the ICU setting and 3:1 in the Step-Down Unit (SDU)
• Accurately administer and manage medications using an automated dispensing system (Pyxis)
• Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to all unit-specific safety protocols, including required masking at all times while in the ICU

Required Qualifications

• Active single-state Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact nursing license
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• Must have pediatric nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — all must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
• NIHSS certification required
• Must comply with unit dress code: Navy Blue scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined adult and pediatric ICU environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
