Financial Controller

A nationally recognized construction firm have retained Harris & Co to secure a Controller in Houston. This is an opportunity to take on a financial leadership role with national coverage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day company accounts Oversight of audits and financial reporting Assist with financial planning Oversee Budget forecasting and cash flow management Ensure government compliance in all tasks Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years experience in the area MUST HAVE Construction Finance / Job Cost Accounting experience MUST be a qualified CPA (Certified Public Accountant') Basic salary could range from $160K to $215K contingent on the candidate.
