Fulfillment Team Lead | 1st Shift
Secaucus, NJ | $19-$22/hr | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
We are hiring an experienced Fulfillment Team Lead for a fast-paced warehouse operation in Secaucus, NJ.
We're looking for a hands-on leader who can motivate associates, manage daily fulfillment priorities, monitor productivity, and jump in to support the team when needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead daily shift and assign team members based on workload.
- Monitor productivity and provide real-time coaching.
- Coordinate picking, packing, inventory staging, and shipping activities.
- Manage order priorities, batches, holds, releases, and cancellations through the WMS.
- Train and onboard new hires and temporary associates.
- Monitor attendance, breaks, and timekeeping.
- Work closely with supervisors and other warehouse departments to achieve daily goals.
- Maintain safety, quality, PPE, and 5S standards.
- Assist with picking, packing, QC, and shipping during high-volume periods.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of fulfillment, distribution, or high-volume warehouse experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Lead or leadership experience.
- WMS and RF scanner experience required.
- Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
- Forklift or other MHE experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods.
