Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Room/Emergency Department in New Braunfels, TX. This travel position requires a competent nurse who practices independently and provides routine and complex care in a high-acuity environment. As a travel RN in this role, you will manage assignments and delegate appropriately within a trauma, stroke, STEMI, and advanced cardiac setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current PALS certification required (AHA only)
• Current TNCC certification required
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
