Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using Siemens MRI systems; ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety; select appropriate sequences to meet physician orders; optimize image quality through parameter adjustments; communicate findings with radiologists as needed.
- Verify patient identity and requisitions; document imaging procedures; ensure correct labeling and storage of images in the PACS.
- Prepare and sanitize imaging rooms and equipment; perform basic quality control checks; report any equipment issues promptly; follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Screen patients for MRI contraindications, monitor for claustrophobia or adverse reactions, and maintain patient safety throughout the exam.
- Collaborate with radiologists and radiology team members to deliver accurate studies; adhere to facility protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Reference checks will be conducted via email; phone references are not requested.
