Verify patient identity and requisitions; document imaging procedures; ensure correct labeling and storage of images in the PACS. Prepare and sanitize imaging rooms and equipment; perform basic quality control checks; report any equipment issues promptly; follow infection control and safety protocols. Screen patients for MRI contraindications, monitor for claustrophobia or adverse reactions, and maintain patient safety throughout the exam. Collaborate with radiologists and radiology team members to deliver accurate studies; adhere to facility protocols and regulatory requirements.
