These full-time, contract positions offer a rewarding opportunity working directly with K-12 learners, with start dates as soon as possible and employment extending through mid-June 2027. Multiple positions are available, and flexibility is essential as specific caseloads and assignments may vary.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma required
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior school-based experience is essential
• Able to secure PA state clearances
• Reliable transportation for daily onsite work
• Willingness to work flexibly within the hours of 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM, as site schedules vary
• Comfort supporting students with special education needs, including those exhibiting behavioral challenges (e.g., elopement, physical aggression)
• Ability to assist with 1:1 services, including toileting/diapering if required
• Openness to serving both Paraprofessional (PCA) and Behavior Technician (BT) roles
• Comfortable in an urban educational environment
• Completed references and prompt disclosure of district placement

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct classroom or 1:1 assistance, adapting to a range of student needs across K-12
• Support students with daily living and academic tasks
• Effectively manage behavioral episodes and escalate as necessary to ensure safety
• Collaborate with school and staff teams to implement individualized student plans
• Maintain professionalism amidst a dynamic, sometimes challenging setting
