Description:
Coverage will include clinic and call.
The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
The daily schedule consists of 8 hours.
Night and weekend call involves occasional phone consultations from the hospital, with no on-site requirement.
Full-time coverage is needed starting July 20th.
Two providers may share coverage for two weeks per month.
Urgent credentialing is expected within 30 days.
The facility is a level 2 trauma center.
The pediatric care level is 3.
The patient encounters per shift are between 20 and 30.
Experience in the following specialty skills is preferred:
- Pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH)
- HELLP syndrome
- Diabetes (Type I, II and gestational)
- Cardiac disorders (Class II or higher)
- Pulmonary disorders
- Renal disorders
- Neurological disorders
- Autoimmune disorders
- Hematologic/Oncologic disorders
- Collagen vascular disease
- VBACs
- Vaginal breech deliveries
- Placenta previa/abruption
- Multiple gestations
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- Instrument-assisted deliveries (forceps, vacuum, etc.)
- Amniocentesis-genetic
- Cervical cerclage
- Intrauterine transfusion
- Multifetal pregnancy reduction
- Ultrasounds: performance of and interpretation
- Level II/Targeted ultrasounds
- Echocardiography
- Fetal blood sampling
- Chorionic villus sampling
