QA Lead

Job-ID Reference Manual test engineers with 6 + years of experience. Good understanding of Merchandizing, Checkout Process and online Payments processes will be excellent to have as a skill. Candidate should be comfortable testing Mobile based apps too across different OS. Test lead who has experience leading a small team with an offshore component will be a key differentiator .Key Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of professional work experience in software QA or engineering.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to autonomously solve problems, as well as collaborate with direct and extended teams
• Experience in functional & integration testing of Web, iOS, OS X, and backend services
• Experience in leading QA team
• Knowledge of SQL, DBMS is plus
• Knowledge of automation, web services validation is plus
Responsibilities:
• Come up with test scenarios, test cases, test scripts for the identified requirements of the project
• Execute the identified test cases and generate test execution reports
• Should be able to write E2E QA strategy, lead the test execution and defect reporting from offshore
• Walkthrough QA Strategy, test cases to client and incorporate feedback received
• Generate defect reports, drive defect triage calls
• Independently able to manage Jira and Confluence as tools used for execution, reporting etc
• Independently interact with the client and internal teams (onshore and offshore) to deliver the QA scope identified for the project and take the project to production
