Software Quality Assurance ManagerDepartment: Software GroupFLSA Status: ExemptLocation: Reno, NV or Menlo Park, CASalary Range: $125,000 - $150,000Reports to: Chief Information Officer.You will be responsible for managing the quality group.We are looking for smart, hard-working people that have a passion for quality.Specific Responsibilities IncludeThis role will initially be part hands on and part management. The person that gets hired will be expected to help build the QA team. Specific activities involve:Creation of an overall software testing and release strategyManaging the day to day testing effortsWork closely with product management to understand the expectations for the systemWork closely with the engineering team to understand the product createdWork closely with the engineering team to understand the existing unit testsWork closely with the IT/DevOps team to understand the deployment modelTechnologies You Should Be Familiar WithAutomated testing environmentJIRAGITHUB/GITLABQualificationsMinimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited college or university.Able to learn new technologies quicklyAble to work both independently and in a team environment.An understanding of software development cycles and release management processesExcellent writing skills and willingness to write documentationAn understanding of software quality metrics and quality processCreative problem solverExperience in at least one of the technologies listed above in addition to Flutter
