Trial Paralegal

Scion Staffing is conducting a search for a Trial Paralegal on behalf of a prestigious global law firm. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity in New York City supporting a highly regarded commercial litigation practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative litigation team handling sophisticated, high-stakes matters from case inception through trial.


The ideal candidate will have experience supporting complex commercial litigation, preparing cases for trial, and managing critical litigation deadlines in a fast-paced law firm environment.



Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of complex commercial litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness files, trial binders, demonstratives, and courtroom materials.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and case files.
• Perform cite checking and Bluebook citation review for briefs, memoranda, and other legal filings.
• Coordinate deposition preparation, document productions, and litigation support materials.
• Track court deadlines, maintain case calendars, and assist with filing preparation.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, court personnel, vendors, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel as needed.
• Conduct factual and legal research to support ongoing litigation matters.
• Maintain organized case documentation and assist with trial logistics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-4 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
• Experience supporting commercial litigation matters.
• Hands-on trial preparation and trial support experience required.
• Experience performing cite checking and legal citation review using Bluebook standards.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation support software.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary ranging from $85,000-$175,000 , depending on experience.
