What You'll Be Doing

As a Kitchen Team Member, you'll play an essential role in delivering the fresh, delicious, and convenient food our customers have come to expect.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking a variety of food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Assisting with menu planning and the development of exciting new food offerings.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Working collaboratively with fellow team members to keep daily kitchen operations running smoothly.
• Monitoring food inventory and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
• Delivering exceptional customer service through friendly, positive interactions at the counter.
• Contributing to a supportive, productive, and upbeat team culture while helping Rusty Lantern Markets achieve its goals.

A Schedule That Offers Something Different

One of the biggest advantages of stepping outside the traditional restaurant setting? A different approach to kitchen hours.

2:00 PM 9:00 PM

Wednesday thru Saturday

Qualifications:

Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.

Familiarity with menu planning is a plus but not required.

Experience in the food service industry is highly desirable.

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically able to squat, bend, and turn as needed, lift 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
